LDR Photo Index covers image formats, conversion workflows, photo editing, and image quality at a practical, technically grounded level. We occasionally welcome contributed articles from people with real, hands-on knowledge — not marketing copy dressed up as advice.

Who we're looking for

• Photographers and photo editors with practical, day-to-day format and workflow experience
• Developers who work with image processing, compression, or PDF libraries
• Print and prepress professionals with DPI, color, and resolution expertise
• Writers who genuinely use conversion or editing tools and can compare them concretely

Editorial guidelines

• Minimum 800 words, original and not published elsewhere
• Specific and concrete — name real formats, tools, and situations rather than generic advice anyone could give
• Assigned to one of our four pillars: File Formats, Conversion Workflows, Photo Editing, Image Quality
• No fabricated statistics, invented quotes, or unverifiable claims — cite what you can
• US English
• One relevant link to your own site is permitted per article
• We edit for voice and accuracy before anything goes live
